Horseback-riding & pony trekking stables (with petting zoo)

with 4 Iceland horses and 3 ponies!

Our offer:

Private tuition for children from the age of 5 onwards, depending on skills on the lunge.
Duration 20 min, 14,00 € per appointment and child

During off-peak season (May, June, September and partly in October), non-hotel guests are able to book private tuitions as well. Bookable up to one day in advance  via mail or phone stating mobile phone number. (Payment in cash at the pony trekking stables).

Group tuition for advanced children from the age of 5 onwards
(Bookable only after one private tuition-session where skills will get assessed.)
Appointments and prices only upon request, price depending on number of participants.

Group riding tours, duration 45 min, only upon request, price depending on number of participants.

Pony riding (the parents guide the pony themselves). Guided pony riding (from the age of 3 onwards) in the riding arena, duration 10 min. 6,00 € per appointment and child.

In the scope of our animation program we will visit the pony trekking stables from Monday to Friday from 1.30 pm onwards. We would like to cordially invite all children to come to the pony trekking stables. Together we will visit the stables and feed the animals at the petting zoo!

The team of the pony trekking stables is looking forward to your visit!

Please book all riding lessons for the morning and afternoon solely at the hotel via the animation info desk (every day between 9 am-10 am in front of the restaurant) or at the reception.

You will be able to place an obligatory reservation for your preferred appointment via our registration form prior to your arrival. You can note down further appointments and we will try and record them, depending on availability, in our daily registration lists. Time displacements can occur. After your arrival you will be able to view the riding appointments we have allocated for you at our daily info desk (9 am-10 am) in front of the restaurant.

Safety
Please pay close attention to our safety instructions. The instructions of the team of the pony trekking stables have to be obeyed unconditionally. The wearing of an equestrian helmet is obligatory; in addition we recommend that children wear a safety vest. Equestrian helmets can be hired out from the pony trekking stables.

Opening hours of the pony trekking stables
Start of season – weather permitting, empirically from approx. May 2012 until approx. November 2011, depending on weather and snow-conditions.
Winter break – beginning from November 2011 until May 2012, depending on the season, weather and snow conditions.

Monday - Friday from 9 am

Individual and lunge unit (20 min)
Monday – Friday from 9 am

Pony riding parents guide the pony themselves (10 min)
Saturday and Sunday pony riding possibly available upon request.
Billing and payment will be made via your hotel invoice. Please understand that we have to charge every riding lesson which has been booked and confirmed by you.
